Arkansas Women's Business Center

The Arkansas Women's Business Center (AWBC) helps women-owned small businesses start, grow, and compete in global markets by providing quality training, counseling, and access to capital.

Small businesses are the lifeblood of the American economy. In Arkansas, the percentage of women-owned small businesses is on the rise, increasing 17% from 1997-2002. However, during times of economic uncertainty, new and prospective business owners can benefit greatly from a dedicated support system. The Arkansas Women's Business Center is supporting this trend by providing strong incentives for more women entrepreneurs to realize their potential in the domestic and international marketplace.

The AWBC providing no cost technical assistance with 1-1 consulting and group trainings, webinars, and cohort-based learning. Topics may include business plan development support, market feasibility studies, mentoring services, fundraising assistance, enhanced links to capital investments, and much more! The AWBC is proud to offer disadvantaged women entrepreneurs the tools they need to succeed.

The services offered by the Arkansas Women's Business Center track our annual new clients, new business starts, and capital infusions for our clients. Each year we encourage our clients to start their own small businesses and contribute towards gender equity and towards growing a more robust and diverse American economy.
